I have always been the one who asks questions. As a student in Bergen I read about all the great worldviews to find answers — mostly to disprove them, if I am honest.

Islam was the only one left standing when I dug deep. The more objections I had, the better the answers I found.

It took me almost two years from being convinced in my head to being ready in my heart. No one pushed me. When I finally took the step, it was my own, considered decision.

The hardest part was telling my parents. It took time, but today they see that I have become a calmer and better person. That says more than words.
